Semaglutide and tirzepatide prescribed through ACT 2 Health are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy; compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not equivalent to or interchangeable with any branded product. Hormone therapy

For eligible patients under proper clinical monitoring, hormone therapy is a well-established option. Safety comes from the oversight — baseline labs, careful dosing, and regular follow-up.
Yes. Women produce and rely on testosterone, and it often declines in perimenopause, affecting energy, strength, and libido. Where appropriate, it may be considered alongside estrogen and progesterone.

Weight loss & GLP-1s

Semaglutide acts on the GLP-1 pathway. Tirzepatide acts on two pathways, GLP-1 and GIP. Which one fits you is a clinical decision your provider makes with you, based on your biomarkers, history and how you respond. Some muscle loss can occur with any significant weight loss. Our protocols emphasize protein, resistance training and ongoing monitoring to support lean mass, because preserving muscle in midlife matters. Individual results vary.

Treatments, prescriptions & sourcing
From licensed, quality-controlled pharmacies, prescribed for you by a clinician — not unverified online products. Sourcing is one of the most important safety factors, and we take it seriously.
It varies by treatment, and each product page states its status. Several of our medications — including semaglutide, tirzepatide, and our hormone and sexual-wellness preparations — are compounded, meaning they are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy under a prescription written for you. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness, and are not equivalent to or interchangeable with any branded product. Others, such as Kyzatrex®, metformin and beta blockers, are FDA-approved medications dispensed as such.
Your dose is a clinical decision, calibrated to your labs, goals, and response — and adjusted over time. We never use a one-size protocol.
