Sexual Wellness

Sexual Wellness, Addressed at the Root

Desire and intimacy change in midlife — for men and for women — and it's one of the things people are least likely to talk about and most relieved to address. The shifts are common, often tied to hormones, and measurable. That means they're addressable.

ACT 2 Health treats sexual wellness as part of whole-person health, not a taboo add-on — with a calm, clinical plan rather than guesswork or embarrassment.

The context

What changes in midlife

Libido and sexual function are influenced by hormones, circulation, sleep, stress, and mood — most of which shift in the second act of life. For women, perimenopause and menopause change estrogen and testosterone, and can bring vaginal and genitourinary symptoms that affect comfort. For men, gradually declining testosterone can reduce drive alongside energy and recovery.

Because the roots are often hormonal, the most effective plans start by measuring — not by reaching for a single quick fix.

For women

Comfort, desire, and confidence

Changes in desire, arousal, and comfort are common through perimenopause and menopause, and they're treatable. For eligible patients, a plan may combine hormone optimization with targeted, localized therapy.

Hormone optimization is often the foundation — explore women's hormone therapy and peptide therapy for menopause.

For men

Drive, energy, and recovery

A dip in drive in midlife is frequently a testosterone story, showing up alongside lower energy and slower recovery. For eligible patients, optimizing testosterone is usually the foundation.

A targeted option for desire

For eligible patients, the Triple Action Blend combines tadalafil, oxytocin, and PT-141 in one prescription preparation. Tadalafil supports blood flow, while oxytocin and PT-141 act on nervous-system pathways associated with sexual desire — pairing mechanisms rather than relying on one — and it may be considered for both men and women.

Important: the Triple Action Blend contains tadalafil. It must not be taken with nitrates — including nitroglycerin, isosorbide, or amyl nitrite (“poppers”) — because the combination can cause a severe, potentially fatal drop in blood pressure. See the full safety information.
